This Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy is established to protect the Deer Soul brand, maintain fair competition, and ensure the long-term success of our retail partners. By becoming an authorized Deer Soul retailer, you agree to comply with the following terms:
1. MAP Requirement
- The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) for all Deer Soul products is no less than 20% off the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) as listed on our pricing sheet.
- Retailers may not advertise Deer Soul products below this threshold, regardless of the promotion or sale type.
2. Scope of Policy
- This policy applies to all forms of advertising, including but not limited to:
- Websites and online stores.
- Social media platforms.
- Email marketing campaigns.
- Flyers, brochures, and in-store signage.
- In-store pricing that is not publicly advertised is not subject to this policy.
3. Permissible Promotions
- Retailers may advertise promotions such as "Buy One Get One Free," free shipping, or bundled offers, as long as the effective price does not fall below 20% off MSRP.
4. Prohibited Practices
- Displaying discounts below the MAP price in any public forum.
- Including language such as “Click for Price,” “See Price in Cart,” or “Contact for Price” if the price is below the MAP threshold.
5. Policy Violations
- First Violation: Written warning with a 7-day grace period to correct the issue.
- Second Violation: Suspension of wholesale privileges for 30 days.
- Third Violation: Termination of the wholesale agreement.
6. Policy Modifications
- Deer Soul reserves the right to modify or update this MAP Policy at any time. Retailers will receive written notice of any changes at least 30 days in advance.
7. Acknowledgment
By purchasing Deer Soul products at wholesale, the retailer acknowledges and agrees to abide by this MAP Policy.
